In case you didn't already know....
I'm a Cincinnati native, that's right I grew up in the nasty 'nati, in a little suburb on the west side of town (WEST SIDE = BEST SIDE, don't let anyone tell you otherwise). Cincinnati, the Queen City, is and always will be one of my favorite cities in the world. What can I say? I'm a hometown pride kind of gal.
One of the reasons I love Cincinnati most is that I could never be done exploring this city. If you're looking for a place that will allow you to forever be a tourist in your own home, Cincy is a top contender. So in honor of my beloved city, I've decided to do a Cincy spotlight when I find a new places. These could be restaurants....food places....coffee shops....okay let's be real the majority of the places I share will be food places but this girl loves to eat and Cincinnati has restaurants a plenty.

ZULA BISTRO & WINE bAR, cINCINNATI, oh (otr)
Nestled on a sweet little corner in the trendy part of downtown known as Over the Rhine, right by Washington Park, is a very cool bistro called Zula. From their fun graphic logo design, to the Mediterranean influenced atmosphere and cuisine, this is definitely a hot spot. Zula features various dishes, and has an ever changing array of featured items, desserts, and wines. From European-inspired Mussel bar concoctions to wood-fire flatbread, this place does not disappoint. I went just last night and shared a goat cheese flatbread with my mom and ordered a salted caramel creme brulee, and I've never felt more like a queen at a restaurant. My dessert came with an edible spoon, I repeat AN EDIBLE SPOON. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the food, and the restaurant itself is oozing with good vibes. There's a community table in the front dining area, reservations are available, and there's even a dimly lit back dining room perfect for a romantic evening. I left with an extremely satisfied belly , and I'll definitely be going back sometime. If you get the chance, head over to Zula, you won't regret it.
